1Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Clearity ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2Service Description

Clearity is an offline-first visual CBT Journal Tracker designed to help users log daily thoughts, track intensity, and build awareness over time through a dot-per-day timeline.

The app includes a 30-day timeline, daily thought cards, intensity selection, and optional clear-mind check-ins. It works without an account, stores your journal data locally on your device, and is available as a paid download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

3Offline Use and Local Data

  • Your journal entries and app preferences are stored on your device, not on our servers.
  • You are responsible for protecting access to your device and for any data loss caused by clearing storage, uninstalling the app, or device failure.

4Purchase and Payment

Clearity is a paid app. You must purchase it through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store to use the Service.

  • Pricing is set by each app store and may vary by region, currency, and applicable taxes.
  • Payment is processed by Google or Apple, not directly by Clearity.
  • Refund requests are handled under the policies of the store where you purchased the app.

5Acceptable Use

  • Do not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access.
  • Do not use the Service for diagnosis, treatment, or emergency decision making.

6Health Disclaimer

Clearity is a self-reflection and tracking tool. It is not medical advice, psychotherapy, crisis support, or a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis or may harm yourself or others, contact emergency services immediately.

7Data and Privacy

Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy. Clearity does not collect your personal information or journal content. We do not sell your data.

8Intellectual Property

The Service, including branding and software, is owned by Clearity. You retain full ownership of the thoughts and notes you enter in the app.

9Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clearity is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of locally stored data.

10Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material updates are effective when posted with a revised "Last Updated" date.
