Clearity is an offline-first CBT Journal Tracker. Your journal entries and most app data stay on your device. We do not collect account details, billing information, or journal content on our servers.

2Information We May Collect

We may collect the following onboarding responses for marketing purposes, such as understanding our audience and improving how we describe Clearity:

• •Your goals in using the app
• •Struggles you experience often

This information is optional, separate from your private journal entries, and is not used to sell your data to third parties.

3Information We Do Not Collect

Clearity does not collect:

• •Account details such as email addresses or profile information
• •Billing or payment information
• •Thought entries, intensity values, clear-mind check-ins, or other journal content
• •Device, browser, or analytics data from your use of the app

4Local Storage on Your Device

Your journal data and app preferences are stored locally on your device, including:

• •Your chosen nickname
• •Onboarding responses such as your profession, goals, and struggles
• •Distressing thought entries and optional fields (trigger, worst-case scenario, balanced thought)
• •Intensity values and clear-mind check-ins associated with your daily timeline
• •User preferences such as the "Show Labels" switch

Your journal data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers. Onboarding responses may also be stored locally and, as described above, may be collected for marketing purposes. You are responsible for backing up your device and protecting access to it. If you clear browser or app storage, uninstall the app, or lose your device, your locally stored data may be permanently lost.

5Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information or journal content. Any onboarding responses we collect for marketing are used only to improve how we present and promote Clearity, not sold to third parties for their own marketing.

6Children's Privacy

Clearity is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

7Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates are effective when posted with a revised "Last Updated" date.
